We would like to thank all the delegates, participants and sponsors of the 6th International Infection Control Conference - which was held in collaboration with IFIC, HEC, DUHS, British Councils Pakistan, GCC, Brigade, AKUH-CHS and Pakistan Society of Microbiology - for making this event such a huge success. We are grateful and hope that in future the level of cooperation will increase.

We sincerely apologize for any shortcomings and would like to convery our best wishes to all the participants. We hope to see you all again in the upcoming 7th International Infection Control Conference on December 17-18, 2008.

POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOP
Tabba Institute of Heart Disease

The post conference workshop was held on December 21st, 2006 at Tabba Institute of Heart Disease which included the specially organized visits for the delegates to the different departments of the hospital. The issues highlighted in this workshop included

  • Recent Developments in Methods to Access the Microbiocidal Activities of Environmental Surface Disinfectants -by Dr. S. A. Sattar.
  • Current Issues in Testing the Microbiocidal Activities of Hygienic Hand Wash & Hand Rub Agents -by Dr. S. A. Sattar.
  • Central Sterile Supply Department - by Dr. Fatima.
