In the winter of 1994, ICSP held first Infection Control Conference in Pakistan, which was attended by the leading experts in infection control, from all around the globe. The conference was held in the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.

ICSP's efforts were so well received that it held international conferences in 1996, 1998 and 2000. To further deepen its roots in health system of Pakistan, ICSP has held numerous seminars throughout the whole country.

The 5th International conference was held in December 21st to 22nd of 2004.

ICSP participated in a workshop with Bridge organization to establish National Guidelines for the control of infection in 2005.

Several seminars have been held that discussed awareness of diseases like HIV/AIDS, Bird Flu, Hepatitis, Viral Hemorrhagic Fevers, and Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever.
